FF60 with Shifting Practice (for Dump Truck vehicles)
If you are applying for a position within a fire department, city works maintenance, a moving company, or any other job that requires a Class D licence, this course prepares and trains you for the MTO licence requirements. You learn to understand and comply with issues related to commercial driving and to successfully pass the MTO requirements to obtain participant’s Class D licence. 2.5 weeks Tuition: $2395.00 (Airbrake practice are included in tuition fee)
FF40 (automatic truck)
You learn how to understand and comply with regulatory issues related to the trucking industry and acquire the driving skills required to operate a straight truck in today's heavy traffic environment to become an entry-level, over-the-road driver. Upon successfully passing the Ministry of Transportation requirements, you receive a Class D commercial licence. This program does not offer air brake “ Z “ endorsement course. 1.5 weeks Tuition: $1295.00
This course will introduce the student to the air brake system of a tractor/trailer combination. Theory and practical exercises will allow the student to become familiar with the Air Brake Systems. This course is a required for anyone driving a vehicle with an air brake systems. Written and Practical exams are given at the end of the course
Duration: 12 to 16 hours
Prerequisites: Must have an Ontario valid driver’s license “G” or higher
Certification: Issued by TTSAO

Step 1: Pass MTO medical/physical exam
Step 2: Pass the MTO knowledge test
